Diamond is a warm, affectionate adult female German Shepherd Dog. We estimate her age to be 4-6 years old, in the prime of her life.
She has been terrific with the small children she's met. In fact, she appears to really love being around kids, so we believe she likely had little ones she enjoyed in her previous life. (She was surrendered to a public shelter by a family that could no longer care for her.)
Diamond gets along great with other dogs too. She even gets along well with cats (though she will chase chickens).
In her foster home, she's been easy-going and delightful. She's already crate-trained, house-trained, and has had great house manners.
Diamond is the perfect age for a family looking for a great, easy dog. She is a great companion, and she is happiest just hanging out and being near her people. She wants to please her people and has little desire to get into mischief. She would be an ideal dog for someone adopting their first German Shepherd.
