Emmie is a young adult female German Shepherd.
She gave birth to a litter of healthy pups in a public shelter on 7/29/14. She has been a fabulous mom in her foster home. She's an excellent role model for her pups: she's friendly, well socialized, happy, and very trusting of people.
Now that her little family is growing up, her pups are weaned, and it's time for this great mom to get back to being a young, athletic happy dog. She is house trained, and in her foster home she has been great with children and other dogs of all sizes (even very small ones). She would be a wonderful family pet.
Emmie is a wonderful walking companion, but she tends to be a little strong on leash. She would thrive in a positive-method obedience course where she could bond with her person and learn obedience skills. She loves to please.
A completed adoption application, with vet and personal references, and a home check are required to adopt Emmie. If you are interested in adopting Emmie, please fill out an adoption application. All adoptions are approved solely at the discretion of the RSGSR board of directors.
